Financial Aid & Scholarships

Committed to making a college education possible for all students, regardless of means, NJCU maintains the lowest tuition of any four-year, public college or university in New Jersey. 

In addition to its affordability, each year, NJCU provides more than $20 million in financial aid, including scholarships, grants, and loans.

Presidential Scholarship
up to $44,000 for four years (covers full-time in-state tuition and fees) Awarded to incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.00 GPA and a 1200 or higher SAT Critical Reading/Math or 26 or higher ACT composite score. 

Top of the Class Scholarship
up to $32,000 over four years ($8,000 annually) Awarded to first-year students who are academically in the top 20% of their high school graduating class. Selection criteria are based on GPA, rank, and test scores.

Green and Gold Scholarship
up to $24,000 over four years ($6,000 annually) Awarded to incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.00 GPA and an 1100 or higher SAT Critical Reading/Math or 24 or higher ACT composite score. 

Gothic Knight Scholarship
up to $16,000 over four years ($4,000 annually) Awarded to incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.00 GPA and a 1000 or higher SAT Critical Reading/Math or 21 or higher ACT composite score.
